November is now Movember, the annual month-long charity event during which men around the world grow moustaches to raise money and awareness for men’s health.
In Washington DC, the growing efforts have spread down Embassy Row. For a second year the British, Australian, and New Zealand Embassies will compete on who can raise the most money under the “Embassy Mo’s on Embassy Row” network.
The British Embassy’s growing efforts will be championed by the Deputy Ambassador, Philip Barton, Captain of the Stiffer Upper Lips. I am thrilled to be participating in such a worthy cause.”
Movember challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple: start Movember 1st clean-shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month. The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health issues.
