200 days to go until London 2012!

The British Embassy in Washington is marking 200 days until the start of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London.

Deputy Head of Mission, Philip Barton, welcomed guests and local schoolchildren to the Embassy on Friday to highlight the preparations underway in London, and to meet two of athletes who are hoping to qualify for Team USA to compete in London: Tim Morehouse, a 2008 Olympic Silver Medalist in fencing; and Justin Widhalm, a Wounded Warrior and Paralympic hopeful for cycling.
